Colleagues cry on Twitter
Many of his former colleagues mourn the loss of Sam Lloyd on social media. “Scrubs” star Zach Braff describes Sam Lloyd on Twitter as “one of the funniest actors” he had the pleasure to work with. “I will appreciate the time I have had with you forever, Sammy,” he adds.
Rest in peace with one of the funniest actors I’ve ever had the joy of working with. Sam Lloyd made me laugh out loud and break the character every time we did a scene together. He could not have been a kinder man. I will always appreciate the time I spent with you, Sammy. pic.twitter.com/wwyvGNbveG

I spent the night watching clips of Sam (The songs! The biggest sweaty fall of all time!) Those who came, our “Scrubs family” appreciates it: it had the biggest heart of all of us. But now he sends all those good thoughts to his family. And to your own loved ones. #RIPTed

Bill Lawrence, the creator of “Scrubs,” writes that Lloyd was “really such a nice and kind guy”: “I think about Sam Lloyd a lot today,” he said, “Many will miss him.”
It also reveals that he listened to the deceased’s songs all night. Sam Lloyd was part of the a cappella group “The Blanks”, which had several guest appearances on “Scrubs” under the name “The Worthless Peons” (translated as “The pathetic failure”).
