He has a “very good idea” about how Kim is doing, “but I can’t talk about it now,” Trump said. “I only wish him all the best. I hope he does well,” Trump said. Later he said, looking at Kim: “No one knows where he is.”
Kim has not appeared in public in days. Since then there have been rumors that he is seriously ill. Trump described the reports of the ruler’s alleged critical condition as likely flawed last week.
North Korea is largely isolated from the outside world, so there is a lack of reliable information on the situation there. The Pyongyang tour generally controls information about Kim and her family extremely tightly.
