Oliver Pocher laments Bohlen-Aus in “DSDS”: “Who is there now?”
After the current season of “DSDS”, RTL and Dieter Bohlen go their separate ways. The 67-year-old will no longer be the main jury for the casting show and will also leave “Das Supertalent.” A more detailed official justification for the decision has not been given yet, but of course this step elicits emotional reactions from fans and celebrities alike.
In his video format “Screen Control”, Oliver Pocher has also now commented on Bohlen’s output. Although the comedian is rarely embarrassed by a mocking comment, he appears to regret the departure of his RTL colleague.
Oliver Pocher is behind tables
Bohlen is known for harshly criticizing “DSDS” candidates and it is precisely these controversial manners that were, according to “Bild” information, one of the reasons for the broadcaster’s decision not to extend the contract.

Pocher, on the other hand, apparently appreciates the terse sayings of the old modern talking star and now confess in the “screen control”:
The animator then holds up a list of Bohlen’s best on-camera sayings, which the same still-reigning “DSDS” jury posted on Instagram. He also reads some of them in the unmistakable Bohlen style.
Finally, the host of “Dangerously Honest” even gets a little sentimental and asks: “Who is there now to tell the singers what they should really say?”
In fact, no member of the jury on a German casting show is as ruthlessly honest (and often quite obnoxious) as the native of Lower Saxony. Presumably for this reason, the “DSDS” ratings have been stable over the years, although a downward trend has emerged recently.
Bohlen and Pocher have this kind of direct expression in common, so it’s no wonder the 43-year-old shows sympathy for the successful producer.
By the way, some other stars also spoke to Pocher. Former “DSDS” winners Pietro Lombardi and Prince Damien were saddened by Bohlens Aus and Luca Hänni expressed his respect on “Blue News”: “I fondly remember my ‘DSDS’ time with Dieter and of course I am grateful to him for that.”
As it stands, Bohlen will be part of the show one last time at the “DSDS” grand finale on Easter weekend. From then on, RTL wants to change the jury completely.
