Four people at Riegelsberg in Saarland criminally tried to circumvent the current ban on the sale of fireworks. As police announced on Sunday, the four perpetrators broke into a secured container in a supermarket on Christmas Eve and stole several boxes with pyrotechnics.
However, when the fireworks were brought from the store to a building, the thieves were seen. Based on this witness reference, the police were able to identify the perpetrators and confiscate the loot.
Due to the corona pandemic, this year is the Sale of fireworks on New Year’s Eve prohibited. One of the goals is that hospitals are not burdened by injuries.
