Berlin – Rebecca Reusch, then 15 years old from Berlin, has been missing since February 18, 2019. Since then her brother-in-law Florian R. has been suspected of killing the girl.

R. was arrested shortly after Rebecca’s disappearance, but was released. However, the Berlin prosecutor continues to target Florian R. as a suspect in the preliminary investigation.

Well informed RTL of a possible explanation of two trips of the brother-in-law to Poland, which R. has not been able to explain plausibly until now.

As RTL wants to know from investigators, R.’s lost wedding ring could be the reason for the second trip.

The presumed suspicion: R. could have missed the ring after the removal of the corpse and returned to look for the jewel.

The Brandenburg police had registered R.’s car registration number twice on the A12: once on the day of Rebecca’s disappearance at 10:47 a.m. and the next day at 10:39 p.m.

Investigators assume that only R. could have driven the vehicle. Where did he go? It’s not clear.

Extensive search measures in the weeks and months following Rebecca’s disappearance provided no clues as to where the girl was.
