The federal and state governments have not found a solution to the controversial accommodation ban. Saxon Prime Minister Kretschmer spoke of disappointment and criticized the lack of proportionality.

The Prime Minister of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, has been involved in the daily topics he was disappointed that there was no decision on the issue of the accommodation ban. “This accommodation ban is not proportionate,” he emphasized. “I would have liked a solution.” It would have been a vote of confidence, he said. The ban affects too many people who have nothing to do with this disease.

During their Corona consultations at the Chancellery, the federal and state governments did not find a uniform course on the housing bans and postponed a decision to November 8.

Kretschmer emphasized that the number of infections should not continue to double. “We definitely want to avoid a second shutdown in Germany.” This “avalanche can only be effectively combated at the beginning,” Kretschmer said.

Decision postponed

When asked about the implementation of the decided measures, he emphasized the “personal responsibility” of the people. Kretschmer said that when it didn’t work, you had to check more.
