Several thousand people were at the Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart. A police spokesman said it was quite full. He did not give an exact number of participants. Protective measures were mainly observed. The authorities had allowed a maximum of 10,000 participants. An initiative called “lateral thinking” is behind the protest. Critics fear that conspiracy theorists and right-wing populists will take him away.

Arrests in Berlin

In Berlin, the police arrested about 30 people for not complying with the rules on crown containment during a demonstration in front of the Reichstag building. A spokesperson said the main thing was to determine personal details. Despite the announcements through loudspeakers, the minimum distance had not been observed. Several hundred people gathered at Alexanderplatz for an undeclared meeting. In Berlin, only meetings with up to 50 participants are allowed in a fixed location.

The demonstration in the Reichstag was held under the motto “For fundamental rights and the rule of law”, organized by the initiative “1 to 19”. Among the protesters are many of the conspiracy theorists and the scene of the imperial citizens. Vegan cook Attila Hildmann was also on site and the police took her away.

According to various reports on Twitter, officials recorded Hildmann’s personal data, and then the author of the cookbook was released.

People in Munich and Frankfurt on the street

At the Marienplatz in Munich, some 3,000 people demonstrated against the strict infection protection regulations. The demonstration had been recorded, but only for 80 participants, a police spokesman said. For “proportionality reasons” the demonstration was allowed to run. Everyone would have behaved peacefully.

More than 500 protesters protested in Frankfurt. They crossed the center of the city with banners and shouted: “Put your nose down,” “Join” and “Resistance.” According to the police, the concentration was not registered. In some cases, the minimum distance was less than 1.5 meters. Police have not yet dissolved the demonstration.
