The United States Supreme Court in Washington has dismissed a complaint from the Trump camp regarding the outcome of the elections in the key state of Pennsylvania. The Supreme Court did not publish a reason.
Trump has refused to acknowledge his election loss to Democrat Joe Biden for weeks and speaks of alleged election fraud without evidence. The Republican had also lost the important state of Pennsylvania to Biden in the November 3 election.
Rejection despite the majority of conservative judges
A group around Republican Congressman Mike Kelly tried to challenge the outcome of the Supreme Court elections, in which the conservative camp had a clear majority of six or three justices. But now they failed. The Trump camp has already crashed in a series of legal proceedings in recent weeks.
According to a lawyer for Biden’s Democrats, the president and his allies have so far succeeded in a lawsuit and suffered 50 losses. In addition to the judges, those responsible for the elections have resolutely rejected the president’s accusations of electoral fraud.

From the Trump side, however, the following lawsuit was initiated before the Washington Supreme Court. Texas State Attorney General Ken Paxton asked in the indictment to invalidate the results of the elections in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin. There Biden prevailed against Trump, the results have already been certified in these states. It is unclear whether the Washington Supreme Court will accept the lawsuit.
The reason given by Paxton was that the constitution had been violated in all four states, among other things because voters were not treated equally and there were irregularities. The American president is not chosen directly by the people, but by 538 voters who usually vote according to the result in their respective states. 270 votes are required for victory.
According to preliminary results, Biden had 306 constituencies behind him, Trump 232. Voting by the electorate in the respective states is scheduled for December 14.
