On Saturday, Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (40, CDU) was attacked by opponents of his Corona policy at an NRW election campaign event and had to step out of the pedestrian zone into a hallway.

Spahn was a star guest at a CDU event for the local NRW election campaign. The mood at the meeting reportedly only changed when the Berlin minister appeared. The opponents had specifically asked the network to disrupt the event.
The CDU politician spoke to the “Rheinische Post” in Düsseldorf (Monday) about the attack: “We have to seek discussion and dialogue with those who are unhappy with our Corona policy. Because we only stay together as a society when we talk to each other. “
