Two men triggered a SEK mission in Frankfurt on Tuesday with an alleged emergency call. Police temporarily arrested the 38-year-old man and the 55-year-old man. According to a spokesman, one of them had threatened by phone to blow himself up. They were both drunk, another spokesperson said in the evening.

Later, the police blocked several streets in the Gallus district. When the SEK broke into the apartment where the call came from, the police only found the men, they found no explosives. It was initially unclear who of the two made the momentous call.
