A total of 71,443 corona cases have been recorded in Berlin since the count began. Of these, 36,439 are women and 34,256 are men. Currently 1183 (previous day: 1184) patients must be treated in a hospital. 333 (previous day: 323) of them are in an intensive care unit. All other people are quarantined at home. So far, 4,374 people have been discharged from the hospital.
For comparison: a week ago there were 332 new infections and three deaths.
The districts of Lichtenberg, Mitte, Pankow and Treptow-Köpenick have not reported new figures. Most of the new infections reported Tempelhof-Schäneberg (+69), Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf (+68), and Steglitz-Zehlendorf (+64). The fewest new cases were registered in Spandau (+13).
