On the threshold of the White House

When the world is noting with growing amazement how long it takes until votes are counted in the last few American states, after all there are mail-order votes in other countries as well, the mood is slowly heating up. President Trump continues to chatter about fraud, theft and manipulation; one of his sons calls for “all-out war” – of course just to expose “hoaxes” – a vicious agitator and former Trump adviser indulges in assassination fantasies, and Republicans close ranks behind their leader, either out of conviction or because of opportunism.

It is increasingly clear that the president will not accept it if his challenger Biden, who is on the threshold of the presidency, obtains a majority in the electoral body. He will not admit defeat with dignity and will wish his successor the best of luck. This is not to be expected of a man who has no sense of honor in his body. Trump will go to many courts, perhaps even the Supreme Court.

But what will you do if all of this is unsuccessful and you are not the resident of the White House for another four years, although you have mobilized as many voters as no Republican or President before but Democrat Biden (who, of course, still has some million more votes)?

Do you want it to be carried out, as has already been speculated, and to perfect the national crisis? After Trump’s defamation theater, nothing can be ruled out; nor that some of his followers have silly ideas.
