Munich is once again one of the corona risk areas

In Munich, the incidence value has risen to more than 50 for the second time in recent weeks, specifically 50.6. Mayor Dieter Reiter said the city was at a tipping point. If it is not possible to stop the spread of the virus now, there will be “much more drastic measures”.

Initially, Munich relies on these measures: in restaurants no more alcohol can be served after 10 pm, as announced by the city hall. Next weekend, there will again be a nightly ban on outdoor drinking at various well-known meeting points. In the city center, pedestrians at Marienplatz, Stachus and some other places must wear masks again. Meetings, whether private, outdoors, or at a local table, are only allowed with up to five people or with members of your own household, partners, “straight-line” relatives, siblings, and members of another household.

Regen district with an incidence value of 90

In Fürstenfeldbruck and Memmingen, the 7-day incidence is currently just under 59, in the city of Rosenheim almost 68, and in the Regen district the value has now risen to 90 after ten more cases were reported in the afternoon. Tighter crown rules have been in place at Rosenheim since Saturday.

As of today, a general decree with stricter protection standards has also been applied in the Regen district. Consequently, the number of participants for indoor events is limited to 25 and outdoor to 50.

Many students also have to study from home on a regular basis starting Tuesday. Most of the schools were unable to maintain the required distance of 1.5 meters between the children and divided the classes, explained the head of the Regen Education Authority, Walter Kloiber. “As a rule, however, the lessons are not shortened, but take place on a schedule,” Kloiber emphasized. Masks have been compulsory in class in the Regen district.

Management at Regen notes that vacation guests can travel to the district regardless of increasing Corona numbers. However, landlords must respect the applicable accommodation ban. The general decree is initially valid until next Sunday, October 18.

The district of Fürstenfeldbruck tightened the rules of the crown

In the Fürstenfeldbruck district, only members of two households or a maximum of five people can be in the district’s public space as of Tuesday. Only 25 people are allowed to participate in events in closed rooms, 50 outdoors. Visiting standards are stricter in hospitals, nursing homes, and facilities for the disabled. From now on, only one person is admitted at precisely defined visiting hours. In all district high schools and vocational schools that were or are affected by an infection in the period from October 5, 2020 to October 19, 2020, lessons are taught in fixed class groups starting in the fifth grade in ahead. It is not possible to receive cross-class lessons.

Memmingen limits the number of people who celebrate

Memmingen also responded to the growing number with a blanket decree. “It’s mostly about infections in the family,” said Mayor Manfred Schilder. “Unfortunately, the infection process cannot be clearly delineated.” The number of participants in the celebrations is now even more limited. Schools and nurseries must remain intact for the time being.

Augsburg plays Leipzig without a spectator

With Augsburg expecting the upper limit of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants to be exceeded this week, it has already been determined that the Bundesliga soccer game Augsburg – Leipzig will be played on Saturday without spectators.
