The state government of Lower Saxony regularly provides information at press conferences on the crown crisis and its effects on the state. Today, Minister of Culture Grant Hendrik Tonne talks about plans and developments in the areas of school, daycare, and digital learning opportunities. The state government crisis team once again provides information on the current situation in the coronavirus pandemic. NDR.de broadcasts the press conference live.

The calendar foresees a staggered return for June 15.

The testing phase started for about 12,000 high school graduates in Lower Saxony last Monday. In addition, final classes learn in primary and secondary schools, in crown conditions, on site. Fourth graders have face-to-face classes at the elementary schools. Starting Monday, students in grades 3, 9, and 10 must return to high schools. Grades 11 follow on May 25, 2, 7, and 8 on June 3, 1, 5, and 6 on June 15.
