A young mother abandoned her newborn baby at a camp in Malge, near Brandenburg an der Havel, on Monday night with freezing temperatures of minus ten degrees.

Fortunately, the newborn was discovered in time by a local resident and taken to a warm place. Around 8 pm, the seeker alerted the emergency doctor.

Rescuers examined the baby on the spot and then took him to a nearby hospital. According to BG’s information, the baby is said to be hypothermic, but under the circumstances he was fine.

Alarmed police also searched for the mother with a sniffer dog at the campsite on the south bank of the Breitlingsee. Few people live in the square at this time of year. He also investigated a homicide squad.

A few minutes later, they found the boy’s mother. It is said that she was overwhelmed by the situation at birth and was also taken to a hospital for examination.
