Low hurricane “Hermine” is causing a lot of wind in Germany this weekend. Schleswig-Holstein is also devastated. On Sunday morning, the German Weather Service (DWD) expects strong storms to generate gusts of force of around 100 kilometers per hour in the North Sea. Subsequent gusts of up to 75 km / h are possible and in exposed locations up to 85 km / h across the country.

Over the course of Sunday, the situation should calm down again. According to the DWD, no snow is expected in the north, at most in the form of sleet.
