Experts warned of wind gusts of up to 110 kilometers per hour, especially for the North Sea.
The fire brigade has to be deployed several times
According to the control center, the fire department moved to the west coast about two dozen times Sunday afternoon. Roofs on Sylt and bent trees had to be secured in the districts of Dithmarschen and North Friesland. No one was injured. Ferries between Cuxhaven and Helgoland did not operate on Sunday. There were also restrictions on the direction of Sylt: trains between Niebüll and Westerland no longer carried cars with trailers, trucks with empty trailers, camping vehicles, and dangerous goods vehicles.
