Missing child in Silkerode in Eichsfeld: this was the search

Previously, eleven-year-old Anna had been missing since Thursday afternoon – the girl was on a school trip at Silkerode in Eichsfeld. Police and firefighters were feverishly searching for the missing child, and a police helicopter was also in action.
Anna is found – she is unharmed
A witness found the boy near Mackenrode, about 10 kilometers as the crow flies from Silkerode. So far it is not publicly known how little Anna got there. The witness responded immediately and called the police. The girl was unharmed but arrived at the hospital as a precaution, according to the state police responsible in Nordhausen. In addition, the officials report with relief: “The police thank the population for the detailed information and the great willingness to help support the search for the child.”
