Norwegian rescuers have found two more deaths after the landslide. Survivors are still expected to be located, the police operations chief emphasized.

Three days after a landslide in Norway, rescue teams found two more bodies. This was announced by Police Chief Roy Alkvist. Late in the afternoon, emergency services discovered another fatality in an area where a few hours earlier they had found another person.

Several people are still missing. One still hopes to find survivors, Alkvist said. Drones and thermal imaging cameras were sometimes used in the search. Emergency services are usually out of the house on foot.

Nine houses collapsed

Emergency services found the first body on Friday. Police have yet to provide any information on the sex or age of the victims.

The landslide occurred on Wednesday in Ask in the municipality of Gjerdrum about 40 kilometers northeast of Oslo. It expanded to a length of about 700 meters and a width of 300 meters. Nine houses collapsed as a result of the exit. Around 1000 people were brought to safety.
