Donald Trump is apparently not satisfied with the work of his lawyers. According to a source, the president asked why his team couldn’t accomplish more. That’s what CNN reports. He is also said to have indicated that he did not believe his lawyers were up to the task of defending him in court. It is said that he called his team to find better lawyers. An attorney for the Trump team said, according to CNN, “We will play until the final whistle.”
So far, Trump has presented himself as the victim of systematic voter fraud, without providing any evidence for his claims. The president announced that he would defend himself against defeat with a series of trials up to the Supreme Court. His team has now filed suit in many states, including Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia. One allegation is that the election observers were unable to adequately track the count of the vote-by-mail documents, and therefore the count should be stopped.
