As Arthur Spooner became known to millions of people in the “King of Queens” series, now actor and comedian Jerry Stiller has died. Her son, actor Ben Stiller, confirmed this on Twitter. “It saddens me to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, died of natural causes,” he wrote. “He was a great father and grandfather and Anne’s most dedicated husband for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed.” Under the post, he wrote, “I love you, Dad!”

Jerry Stiller was born in New York in 1927 as one of four children. He studied “Speech and Drama” and married his wife Anne Meara in 1954, who also worked as an actress. From their marriage Ben and Amy Stiller emerged, who, like their parents, ended up acting.

Stiller appeared on Broadway and was invited in several television series. Stiller became famous for his role as Frank Constance in “Seinfeld” – and as Leah Remini’s father in “King of Queens”.

Now Jerry Stiller is dead, he was 92 years old.
