Laschet’s expert advice is meant to loosen the crown’s measurements.
Dusseldorf NRW Prime Minister Armin Laschet’s team of experts have completed their plans on how to make public life work again. This is reported by the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung”, where the measures are relaxed first.
The exit strategy for the Corona measures is in place: the expert advice of NRW Prime Minister Armin Laschet has already solved what the exit from the Corona crisis should be like. This arises from a report by the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung”, which according to the document by Laschet’s team of experts is available.
Consequently, after the end of the current “crash”, “responsible normality” must occur in a “tentative” process. That means: Step by step of the crown crisis. However, “pandemic containment” remains the objective. Relaxation can only be considered if it is clear that the health system “is not likely to be overwhelmed.” One possible way could be to “gradually re-allow individual areas of public life.” This included schools, universities, and retail stores.
Educational institutions should reopen “as soon as possible”. In schools, there should be age-related lessons and time differences, in nursery schools and in “classroom instruction”, mainly non-risk teachers should work first. Experts create sequences for the economy. Stores must open before nightclubs, tables must be far apart in restaurants, and only a few guests should be allowed. Soccer games, fairs and congresses, on the other hand, should remain banned for a longer time.
The concrete steps and speed of opening should be based on four criteria according to this concept. First, it had to be determined where the risk of infection was particularly high and where it was least. Second, the question is: “Who would be particularly dangerous for an infection?” – These groups would have to receive special protection. Third, it depends on what is “particularly important to the economy and society.” Finally, consideration should be given to how well protection measures can be implemented in the respective area.
For this reason, expert advice requires stricter security measures against the coronavirus. Symptom carriers and their contact persons should always be tested, as should nursing home staff and people who can easily become infected through their professions. Visiting bans may continue to apply to nursing homes. Breathing masks are also recommended for everyone.
Laschet’s twelve-member expert council had been created by himself. The authors of the plans, which have now been released, include former federal constitutional judge Udo di Fabio, the Renate Köcher demoscope, former “business practices” president Christoph Schmidt and virologist Hendrik Streeck. Laschet described the experts’ proposals as “transparent” and “understandable” in an attached letter.
