A house exploded in Wuppertal on Sunday morning. Two people were injured in the house blast and many were rescued unharmed.

The entire top floor of the building was destroyed, a fire department spokesman said Sunday.
A total of ten people from the apartment building were rescued.
The two injured were taken to hospitals. The neighboring building with 16 people also had to be evacuated.
There was a loud roar early in the morning, the spokesman said.
The emergency services that arrived found one injured in front of the house and another in the building.
The basement was already on fire. According to the information, the fire in the house has already been extinguished.
However, the extinction work can only be carried out from the outside as the building is in danger of collapse.
The cause of the explosion is not yet clear.
