Three years ago, the speeders were sentenced to life in prison for the first time in Germany for murder. The case of the so-called Kudamm-Raser von Berlin passed to the Federal Court of Justice (BGH), the sentence against one of them for murder is now final. The other man is currently on trial in Berlin; the BGH had annulled the judgment against him.
