“Helene Fischer Show”: ZDF failed to show this scene

On Christmas Day, Helene Fischer invited to her great show “The Helene Fischer Show – My Most Beautiful Moments” on ZDF. The compilation replaced the original, which could not be made due to Corona. For three hours they bathed in nostalgia. Great feelings were the order of the day, but every now and then we were allowed to laugh out loud.

In addition to the numerous musical performances, for example, Hessian charlatan Martin Schneider appeared on the show. This is from 2018 and originally contained a scene that would have been quite disgusting to watch now, in the days of the crown pandemic. Presumably for this reason, ZDF removed them for broadcast on Friday night.

Martin Schneider Was Allowed To Spit On The “Helene Fischer Show”

Two years ago, Helene Fischer and the comedian met on stage to recreate iconic movie scenes. Before I could begin, Martin Schneider encouraged the singer and the audience to perform a facial muscle relaxation exercise. This scene has now been removed. His suggestion was: “Move your cheeks for a bit.” He himself demonstrated it immediately and with such speed that the movements made noise. Then Helene tried it successfully and was happy:

But the audience should also participate. Schneider then had a not very hygienic tip ready for these: “It can splash a bit, right? It doesn’t matter if the neighbor gets a little wet!” In other words, ask the people in the audience to spit on each other more or less directly.

It is not recommended to imitate the scene from the “Helene Fischer Show”

At the time, the number on stage did not cause a sensation, at least not in a negative sense. However, from today’s perspective, the scene would certainly have made some viewers uncomfortable. After all, the deliberate spread of the coronavirus by coughing or spitting can even be punished as dangerous bodily harm.

It is therefore quite understandable that ZDF shortened the joint appearance of Martin Schneider and Helene Fischer and thus deactivated it in view of the current pandemic situation.

By the way, Helene only recorded two short performances for the replacement show, which may have disappointed some fans. She no longer commented on individual appearances, not even Martin Schneider’s. Consequently, the three hours in total were mostly occupied with material from previous programs.

Scene with a new friend: Helene Fischer makes a statement at the Christmas show

On Christmas Day there was no “The Helene Fischer Show” in the usual way this year, but a compilation of the most beautiful moments of nine years that the singer herself selected. One appearance attracted particular attention.

We talked about the performance with the artists of the group Diavolo of 2017. This is where Helene Fischer flew through the air with her later partner Thomas Seitel, who at the time was “just” acrobat for her show.
