Hamburg gyms have to close

Initially, the court granted an urgent motion against the closure. The decision only applied to the applicant Fitness First, which operates several studios in Hamburg. The decree now issued is applied until the competent court decides. That could take several days or weeks.
The fitness chain had initially successfully weathered the shutdown
The administrative court of Hamburg had initially granted on Tuesday the urgent request of the fitness chain “Fitness first”, with which it resisted the closure due to the partial blockade. The chain’s eight studios in Hamburg could have reopened then. The closure ordered by the Hamburg Senate in the course of the “closing light” is illegal, according to the decision that has now been cashed. The city of Hamburg had filed a complaint against the decision.
Requests from other gyms were previously denied
In the same court, urgent requests from operators of several fitness studios and a tattoo studio, who resisted its closure after the new partial closure, had previously been rejected. Other cameras were concerned about this. It can be assumed that the measure will make a notable contribution to containing the new corona virus, he said in these cases.
Across Germany, fitness studios and chains have filed applications in their respective federal states against the closure of their locations. So far, only the application in Hamburg has been successful.
