Green wash: eco-fraud is more than a little cheek

[ad_1]

meFirst, the economy ignored the environmental movement. Then he made a fool of himself with green marketing. Today she pretends to be the environmental movement herself. In the background is always the fear of public charges: “Green wash!”

There is fear in the economy. It is the fear of being exposed. Most, as they say: have become environmentally conscious. Even industrial companies have to be – to assert markets, maintain reputations, be green-indexed. But this project is doomed to fail.

Because as long as we have an industry, it will always be the opposite: it consumes resources, vaporizes and smokes, in one way or another. When it comes to the history of industrial progress, there is only one symbolic aspect of what is clearly good.

So the economy has perfected the green symbol policy. But every little eco-social act faces many questions, and suspicions over and over again: isn’t all this a green wash?

But what does this term really mean? Does it have any fixed meaning? Or has it become a rhetorical weapon that can be adjusted according to the objective?
