Four children of the deceased woman, clan chief Arafat Abou-Chaker, 44, and three of his brothers, are currently before the Berlin district court.

They are accused of threatening, insulting, jailing and assaulting rapper Bushido. The charges are filled with attempted predatory extortion, deprivation of liberty, dangerous bodily harm, coercion, insults and infidelity.

The hearing was interrupted on Monday because the mother of the accused was in very bad condition. According to information from BILD, she is said to have been in the hospital with a corona infection.

The process will continue on September 30; the break was planned in advance.

The mother of the Remmo clan, of Arab origin, was buried in the cemetery of the Twelve New Apostles in Schöneberg in April. At that time, 250 officers, checkpoints for mourners, civilian investigators, loudspeaker announcements and a helicopter were in action at the Schöneberg district cemetery.
