Frankfurt – Dr. Anne S. (45) denied her diabetic son Alexander (13) a diabetes test three years ago. The boy went into a coma and has been a nursing case ever since.

The judge wanted to know why the defendant had not recognized her son’s diabetes. Anne S. couldn’t answer that. The mother was also unable to conclusively explain the question of why she first called an ambulance and then sent the paramedics again.

Only when the son fell into a coma the next day did the single father take him to the hospital. Alexander can barely walk or speak today, he lives with his father and is currently in rehab. In court, the clinic’s mother blamed: “The insulin was given too quickly.”
The judge has requested a psychological report for Anne S. Obviously, it is urgently needed. When asked about his work, for example, he replied: “I am dealing with climate change in medicine and the change in Frankfurt.”
