There is a worldwide malfunction with Microsoft 365 services. According to the company, Outlook and computers are affected. How many users are affected, the company still leaves it open.
Users of Microsoft 365 services around the world have to deal with outages overnight. A recent change has likely caused a major outage, also affecting the Outlook email program and the Microsoft Teams collaboration service, the company said.
Even after reversing the change, the Windows and Office software developers could not have observed an “increase in successful connections.” The problem will persist, he said.
“We are looking at measures to limit the damage. In parallel, we are redirecting data traffic to alternative systems to further relieve affected users,” Microsoft said. The group did not announce how many users are affected by the outage worldwide.
