Raid on Wednesday morning in Berlin, large-scale operation for the federal police. Reason: Investigations into forced prostitution and human trafficking.

Since 6 a.m., officials have been searching for six objects in Berlin, with a focus on Lichtenberg with five objects. Object searches were also carried out in two other German cities (Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein Timmendorfer Strand). According to the Federal Police, around 160 emergency services are deployed.

According to the Federal Police press spokesperson, cosmetic and massage studios and apartments are being searched. “We have indications that they were also used as brothels.”

According to information from BZ, this is due to various investigations into forced prostitution and human trafficking. Consequently, there are three suspects.

A Vietnamese woman (43) is said to have distributed women to massage parlors, cosmetics, and brothels. Another Vietnamese woman (25) is said to have run an apartment brothel and a German (63) known to the police is said to have acted as managing director.

In the case, the LKA and Customs have been investigating for about a year, now it has been carried out by the Federal Police. A 43-year-old man was arrested in an apartment on Landsberger Allee.
