As a backup for Lewandowski

Andrej Kramaric made a significant contribution to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim’s 4-1 victory over FC Bayern with two goals. With five goals after two Bundesliga games, the 29-year-old has been the player of the relatively short season so far. But it seems open whether the forward will continue the current season with Kraichgauer.

According to information from the newspaper “Bild”, the Munich record champions of all people are interested in the Croatian international. Consequently, sports director Hasan Salihamidzic reached out to Kramaric’s consulting agency, P&P Sport Management, at the beginning of the week to force an immediate change. At Bayern, TSG’s record scorer is said to be backed by Robert Lewandowski (32).

Update, 8:13 pm: When asked about “Sport1”, Kramaric’s advisor Vincenzo Cavaliere said: “I cannot confirm that Hasan Salihamidzic has contacted me. That would be unprofessional. Andrej attracted the interest of many clubs. Andrej feels at home in Hoffenheim and is in no rush to leave the club. But if a specific offer comes from an important club that is also of interest to Hoffenheim, then we will talk about it. ” The 29-year-old’s player agency confirmed a request from the record champions to the “Sky” station.

No clause: Bayern would have to make a high offer for Hoffenheim’s Kramaric

Kramaric has a contract at Hoffenheim until 2022, with no exit clause. According to the sheet, TSG’s transfer fee should be correspondingly high. Kramaric is not available for less than 40 million euros. This would require an offer at a record level. So far, Roberto Firmino (2015 for 41 million euros to Liverpool FC) and Joelinton (2019 for 44 million euros to Newcastle United) have been the most expensive departures in the history of TSG.
