Following the death of Judge Ginsburg, the President of the United States urges that the appointment be made quickly. You can still determine who will succeed Ginsburg. And who knows: the US presidential election may end in the Supreme Court in November.
In his own words, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, assumes that the elections will end in November in the Supreme Court of the country. That is also why it is so important to get the panel back busy with nine judges, Trump said.
The question of a quick replacement following the death of previous judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg a few days ago has sparked a fierce dispute. Trump wants to fill the job as soon as possible, while Democrats and some of Trump’s Republicans are demanding that they wait until after the presidential election in early November. With the appointment, Trump could cement the conservative orientation of the body of nine people.
Of the eight judges who remained after Bader Ginsburg’s death, five are considered conservative. Members are appointed for life. Trump has already been able to fill two new positions during his tenure to date.
