In fact, it was the first competition this season that was clearly influenced by external conditions. “It was a difficult competition, the wind changed more than yesterday. But that’s how it works sometimes, ”the victorious Granerud said afterward.
Light and shade with the German ski jumpers
The German team revealed more weaknesses a week before the World Ski Flight Championship in Planica. Andreas Wellinger missed the goal given by national coach Stefan Horngacher to score for the first time this season: At 118 meters and 40th place, the Olympic champion missed the second round for the fourth time, as did his teammates Constantin Schmid ( 38th) and Severin Freund (39th).
