American actor Eddie Hassell died at just 30 years old. As reported by the New York Times, among others, the Texan died Sunday in a Dallas suburb.

The American portal “TMZ” writes that Hassell was murdered in connection with the theft of a car. It is said that the cause was a gunshot to the stomach. The incident took place in front of his girlfriend’s apartment in Grand Prairie, south of the Texas city of Dallas.
It is not yet clear exactly what the circumstances of the robbery were like and to what extent Hassell was involved in it. Apparently no one has yet been arrested.
Hassell’s last role was a long time ago: in 2017 in the movie “Oh, Lucy!” However, the actor’s best known appearance was in the series “Surface – Unheimlicheiefe”, which aired in 2006 on ProSieben. After just one season, the US broadcaster NBC suspended the show again. In “Bones” Hassell was involved in an episode.
