Dynamo fan talks about differences with Leistner: “I apologized to him”
By Max Patzig
Dresden – After yesterday Monday the teams of SG Dynamo Dresden and SV burger met in the DFB Cup and Dresdner clearly won, made it to the fan block Scandal between amateur and HSV pro Toni Leistner (30). Now the alleged perpetrator speaks exclusively to TAG24.
The match was called, it was 4: 1 for Dresden. Subsequently, some players should give interviews to the Sky television station. Toni Leistner was also asked by Sky host Jurek Rohrberg about the surprising loss in the DFB Cup.
But the interview ended abruptly. A fan is said to have insulted him and his family in the worst possible way, he announced on Instagram late at night. The words, which are said to have been captured from video recordings, are so bad that we don’t want to play them back on TAG24.
Leistner: “I was insulted from the stands in my hometown after the game. Usually I can deal with it. But then it went way below the belt against my family, my wife and my daughter. At that time, my fuses they got especially burned because this was an extremely emotional game for me anyway, “said the Dresden native.
For this reason, the footballer jumped to the block and got involved with the allegedly responsible mafia.
But the corresponding dynamo trailer, who wants to remain anonymous, described in an interview with TAG24: “It was not like that at all.. “
“I’d like to fix things,” said the fan who was grabbed by Leistner and pushed to the ground. “He justifies his astonishment by saying that he should have insulted his family. That was definitely not the case.” At least the calls to be heard on video, including wishes for Leistner’s family to die, shouldn’t have come from him.
Toni Leistner’s family was not offended: HSV pro broke too fast?
Consequently, the young man, who was watching the game in the red jersey came from Block N, was only “a little intimidated”, as he put it. “Those were the usual phrases that the fans used after a game like this.”
“Two friends came down to the block and wanted to hear what the HSV players are saying in the interview,” the SGD supporter continued. “When it was Leistner’s turn, we just yelled that we really screwed up our burgers 4-1. It wasn’t a word about family.”
And also: “Leistner said I should go down. I yelled at him that it wasn’t going well. So he went back and forth four times.”
“At the time I didn’t even know it was Toni Leistner, nor that his wife was in hospital and expecting a child,” the Dresden man told TAG24.
In the end, the soccer fan went back up to his house.
However, the situation immediately escalated: “He somehow managed to jump over the six-foot-high wall and suddenly found himself on the block,” the fan said from the corner of his eye. Security guards did not detain the athlete.
“He came up to me and threw me to the ground,” recalls the man from Dresden. Videos of the incident, filmed by a friend of the person concerned, among others, went viral in minutes.
Fans who were nearby chimed in. A security team rushed to the scene and tried to separate Leistner and the dynamo trailer.
“Leistner apologizes, but what is it?”
The HSV pro then withdrew and left block N onto the field.
“In the end he apologized for going crazy, but what good is it if he misrepresented the fact so that I would have insulted his family?” Asks the Dynamo fan. “Of course I do not wish him a stillbirth, as some are now saying on the Internet.”
But since the statement Leistner shared on Instagram that night, all of German football has been talking about the Dresdner.
“The SGD now even threatens to kick me out of the club. That is completely absurd,” exclaimed the fan, who agreed to a clarifying discussion with everyone involved.
The Dresden man wants to apologize to Leistner for the misunderstanding and clarify the matter. On the other hand, he found few conciliatory words with the organizers of the game.

Dresdner complains of problems in the operation of the stadium
“How can a loyal fan get attacked by a player and nobody cares?” Asks the man from Dresden.
According to his description, neither the commissioner who intervened in the stadium nor any other person in charge asked about the health of the Dresden man.
“Now they have been looking for me to exclude me from the club. They should apologize for this security breach!”
Meanwhile, contact between SGD and the “rabble fan” has been established. “They advocate that we can meet and apologize for the incident,” said the Dresden man, who hopes to remain a member of the SGD. “I’m already looking forward to the second round of the cup, then without any rabble.”
Update, 8:15 pm.: Fan wants to volunteer social hours
As the SGD announced in the evening, the fan in question also informed the club. Later, those responsible contacted the mob and Toni Leistner.
“It is commendable that Toni answered the phone immediately after his return to Hamburg and sought a personal conversation with the supporter in question,” said Dynamo president Holger Scholze. “The Dynamo fan admitted his mistake in the phone call and credibly asked for Toni Leistner’s forgiveness for the provocations.”
The Dresden man no longer wants to attract attention with such behavior in the stadium and volunteered the club to do 20 hours of community service for a non-profit project of the sports community.
The association committees now want to discuss this anonymous offer.
