Police break up raver party under freeway bridge
Düsseldorf On Saturday night an illegal raver party broke up under a bridge on the A44 at the Düsseldorf fairgrounds. The organizers even installed pavilions. The stereo was confiscated.
Employees of the public order office were called on Friday evening around 11 pm due to noise pollution on the motorway bridge at the Lotzweg fairgrounds. When they got there, they found an illegal raver party with numerous guests. “Most of the participants fled when the law enforcement officers arrived,” a spokeswoman for the city of Düsseldorf told our editorial team.
Four people stayed at the party venue under the highway bridge, certainly also because a full music system was installed there. Five pavilions had also been set up for party guests and there was a burning campfire.
Organizers and participants must now expect fines because they have violated the Crown Protection Ordinance, the city spokeswoman said. The music equipment and pavilions were immediately dismantled and the bonfire was extinguished.
It is unclear how many people in total attended the party. The mission ended around 1.30 am
