According to the police and the prosecution, two men (53, 55) were seriously injured by an unknown person on Sunday night. They were found on Schlossstrasse and taken to the hospital. Too late for Krefeld, 55, he died a little later.
They had both traveled to the Saxon capital as tourists from North Rhine-Westphalia and had just returned from dinner. The 53-year-old man from Cologne is currently being treated at the hospital.
“The perpetrator fled,” prosecutor spokesman Jürgen Schmidt said Monday morning. As BILD learned, there is currently no evidence of a theft or relationship crime. There is also no indication of a religious background.
The police announced this Monday at lunchtime to increase the presence in the city in the coming days due to the fact.
