Until now, investigators had not commented on the motive for the act of terror in Dresden. But they rule out a crime of theft. Yesterday afternoon the arrest warrant was issued for the murder of the 20-year-old.
The Federal Prosecutor’s Office has taken over the investigation of the knife attack. In the eyes of investigators, it is therefore a terrorist attack with a radical Islamist background.
