Dresden – The light is red! Dresden now it’s officially one Crown-Hochburg.
The number of corona cases has developed so rapidly in recent days that the seven-day incidence (cases from the past seven days per 100,000 residents) on Friday is 57.
According to the definition of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), Dresden is therefore a corona risk area.
From Tuesday, October 27 at midnight, there is a stricter mask requirement in Dresden in certain public places, where the minimum distance of 1.5 meters to strangers and a curfew must not always be respected (from 10 pm) for the catering trade.
“The subsequent entry into force was chosen to give citizens a transition period and an opportunity for consultations early next week,” the city of Dresden said.
Mouth and nose protection must now be worn starting Tuesday in Dresden
On Friday afternoon, the capital of Saxony announced where the new obligation to wear oral and nasal protection applies:
- “In the busy city center locations according to the general disposition card, always from Monday to Saturday in the period of 7.30 am to 4 am the next day. This does not apply to cycling or jogging, that is, moving without delay. “This affects parts of the body. New and old town.
- “In all rooms open to the public with regular public traffic, especially in Shopping centers, tourist accommodation (Traffic and common areas, dining rooms until reaching the square), Museums and public administrations.“
- “Throughout eating facilities, including bars and cafes. If the catering facility has seating, it is necessary to carry them until the space is reached. You don’t need to wear a face-to-face mask in your seat. “
- “In Churches and rooms of religious communities and in Sports competitions with the public (Except the popular sports and leisure area with a number of visitors up to 50 people) and in Fairs, in meeting centers and conventions and in cultural events, especially in Theaters, musical theaters, cinemas, concert halls, concert halls, opera houses, music clubs (no dance), Circuses. This also applies during performance. “
- “TO Sports and big events as well as meetings and encounters in public spaces (for example, citizen meetings) “.
- “In School buildings and also in school facilities, with the exception of teaching and outdoor activities. Exceptions according to the Saxon Crown Protection Ordinance for groups or classes continue to apply. Persons who, contrary to this obligation, do not cover their mouth and nose in the school building or on the school premises are prohibited from staying there. “
The number of private meetings is decreasing
The city also announced the following:
“From now on, it is mandatory to wear a face-to-face mask outdoors in the following areas: For public transport and in Train Stations as well as in Weekly markets regardless of the time. “
However, that is far from it! The city of Dresden further restricts the number of people at meetings of all kinds:
- “Meetings and private celebrations as well as family celebrations in restaurants or lounges provided by third parties: maximum 10 people “.
- “Company and club celebrations: maximum 10 people “.
- “Important and sporting events: maximum 100 people “.
- “Meetings and gatherings in public spaces: maximum 100 people. This does not apply to meetings under the assembly law. Here are separate regulations. Restrictions on the number of people do not apply to facilities with an approved hygiene concept. Here the concept of hygiene and the protective measures mentioned there are decisive “.
- Specifically, this means: “This applies, for example, to concert halls, cinemas and theaters. Hygiene concepts that have already been approved remain valid without being sent back to the health department if the following conditions are also observed: data collection …, covering the mouth and nose for the entire duration of the stay, including the execution, mandatory compliance with a minimum distance according to the regulations of the general decree ”.
“Lock light”
There is also one Curfew and no alcohol: “The bars and restaurants are 10 pm to 5 am to close the next day. It is not allowed to dispense alcoholic beverages or beverages containing alcohol between 10 pm and 5 am the next day. This applies to all facilities, including restaurants and outlets. “
Meetings in the sense of the right of assembly: “All participants in the congregation and organizing forces are ordered to wear a nose and mouth cover. Furthermore, only fixed mounts are allowed and lifts are prohibited. Also, the upper limit for the number of participants in the meeting is an area of four square meters per person to better guarantee the distances between the participants. ”
Prostitution sites: “The opening and operation of prostitution centers and similar institutions is prohibited. “
Health and social assistance institutions: “Facilities such as nursing homes, hospitals and facilities for the disabled should introduce strict visiting hours and regulations to reduce the number of visits, if this is not already practiced. The objective is to avoid entering facilities with groups of people who need protection ”.
In recent days, the spread of the crown in Dresden has increased rapidly. The health department recorded up to 50 new infections in 24 hours. Recently, more and more cases of the last days were recorded in the statistics of the city administration. This could be a sign that the health department was no longer up to date with the processing of cases.
It was already clear that Dresden would now exceed the critical value. The “lock light” is now around the corner.
