Donald Trump votes his candidacy in the 2024 US elections

Donald Trump persistently refuses to admit defeat to Joe Biden, at least publicly. Plans for the upcoming elections are already running in the background.

Donald Trump lost the election to Joe Biden. Even if he hasn’t officially admitted it, Trump already appears to be preparing to run for the next American election in 2024.

This is indicated by an email poll launched by Trump’s team. Under the bogus headline that the “radical left” stole President Trump’s election, Trump supporters are asked, “Do you think President Trump should run for president in 2024?”

However, the email circulating on social media since Wednesday also poses a problem for Trump: Under the constitution, a US president can only serve two terms. So if Trump prepares for another candidacy in 2024, he is indirectly admitting that he lost the 2020 election.

Wild accusations without any evidence

So far, however, Trump has strictly avoided admitting defeat to Biden. He has lost almost 60 trials against the result of the elections, but he continues to add. At last he suspected, without presenting any evidence, voting machines would have given Biden two to three percent of the vote.

Trump was also not at all pleased that the top US Senate Republican, Mitch McConnell, Biden finally congratulated him on his election victory. “It’s too early to give up,” Trump tweeted.

Ultimately, however, the choice is made. In the 50 United States and the Capital District of Washington, the 538 electorate voted for the future president on behalf of the people. Unsurprisingly, Biden got the votes of 306 voters, 36 more than needed for victory. 232 electorates voted for Trump.
