Soon after, he rejected the impression that he was reluctant to admit his electoral defeat against Biden. “He only won in the eyes of the fake news media. I admit nothing! ”Trump wrote on Twitter. The original tweet has apparently been deleted in the meantime.
Trump’s attorneys are filing various lawsuits in various states. It wasn’t until Sunday night that he put the legal battle over the election results in the hands of his lawyer and longtime partner, Rudy Giuliani.
After the election, according to US media estimates, Biden will get 306 votes from voters, while 270 are needed for a victory. His lead is enough to withstand the recounts and partial success of Trump’s previous demands.
