Donald Trump loses even more after count in Wisconsin

After the recount in Milwaukee and Dane counties, President-elect Joe Biden even got an additional 87 votes, according to the local Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. In Milwaukee, Biden received 132 more votes, Trump in Dane another 45 votes. The electoral authority published a summary of all the deviations in the individual polling stations on its website.

Biden won the elections in the northern state with around three million votes cast by around 20,000 votes. Trump’s election campaign team paid $ 3 million upfront for the partial recount, as the election commission had stated. In 2016, Trump had just won the state.

Biden unreachable ahead

Wisconsin has ten voters in the presidential election. Based on the results so far, Biden leads nationally with 306-232 votes. You only need 270 votes to win. The electoral college, which ultimately determines the president, will vote on December 14.

A second vote recount is still underway in the southern state of Georgia. If, as expected, the results of the first recount were confirmed, the electorate 16 of this state also turned to Biden as planned.

Since his election defeat, Trump has repeated unsubstantiated claims of election fraud. In an interview with the Fox news channel on Sunday, the US president renewed his accusations that the vote was “a complete fraud,” he said. The main target of their verbal attacks is the postal vote, which is increasingly used due to the crisis in the crown. It does not provide any solid evidence.
