US President Trump still refuses to sign the crown aid package approved by Congress. That has consequences for citizens. Millions are now threatened with the loss of unemployment benefits.

Millions of Americans are at risk of losing unemployment benefits because US President Donald Trump continues to refuse to approve the Corona aid package decided by the US Congress after months of negotiations. Without his signature, the right to aid will expire today for around 14 million citizens.

Trump had surprisingly refused to sign the bill after the White House had previously signaled its approval. The draft is currently ready for signature at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. However, the president played golf on Friday.

The crown’s nearly $ 900 billion aid is part of a $ 2.3 trillion legislative package. About 1.4 trillion of these go to regular public spending. Since these funds have also been blocked so far, the partial shutdown of authorities threatens since Tuesday.
