Lisa Montgomery will be executed by lethal injection on January 12 at the Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Lisa Montgomery contacted 23-year-old Bobbie Jo Stinnett via the Internet. Together with her husband Zeb, she had a breed of dog in Skidmore, Missouri.
On the pretext of wanting to buy a puppy, Montgomery made a date with Bobbie Jo Stinnett, who was eight months pregnant at the time.

Lisa Montgomery had previously suffered a miscarriage in the sixth month, which she was hiding from her husband. But she wanted a baby.
After the meeting, Montgomery fled with his victim’s bloodstained child, leaving the woman bleeding. A little later, Bobbie Jo’s mother found her daughter in a huge pool of blood. But for the young woman any help came too late.
