Around 6:30 am, a cyclist was hit by a car. The cyclist fell and was seriously injured.
The crash was so severe that one of the bicycle’s wheels flew off and was thrown several feet into the air!
So far nothing is known about the cause of the accident.
Update, 2.30 pm: As the police announced on Thursday afternoon, the cyclist (32) was hit by a VW van. He suffered fatal injuries.
The B173 was completely closed at the scene of the accident for about three hours.
