This is how the “6aus49” lottery works
Before the draw, the player fills out a ticket. Next, six of a total of 49 winning numbers are dialed. After delivering the ticket, six balls are drawn from a pool of 49 numbered balls. The object of the game is to match as many numbers as possible with the previously written numbers. To win the jackpot, you need six correct winning numbers, as well as the correct supernumber. This is the last digit of the ticket number, that is, a number between zero and nine. The supernumber is drawn from a group of ten numbers after the “6aus49” has been drawn.
Depending on the correctly written numbers or the correct supernumber, a total of nine prize categories result. To win, at least two numbers must be correct and the super number must be correct.
Profit amount
The amount of the prize depends on the type of prize and the stake. The more numbers that are correct, the better the prize level and the amount paid. The sum of money that is distributed among the nine prize categories corresponds to 50 percent of the bet. The amount won is greatest when as many notes as possible are struck and the fewest possible players have guessed the correct numbers.

Participation cost
On a lottery ticket there are boxes with 49 numbers to cross. Each field that is filled in is a tip and costs 1.20 euros. Therefore, the amount of participation costs is not based on the number of tickets, but on the number of tips. There is also a processing fee for each ticket.

Forced jackpot payment
As of September 23, 2020, the following applies to mandatory distribution: If the jackpot sum exceeds € 45 million, there is a guaranteed distribution. If a player guesses six correct numbers plus the supernumber, the jackpot amount is played as usual. However, if no player has reached Prize Category 1 again, there is a mandatory distribution. The amount will then be attributed to the winner of prize category 2. If it is also vacant, the amount goes to the next one, and so on. In theory, it is possible that the amount will be distributed to prize class 9.
Until September 19, 2020, the rule that there would be a mandatory distribution if there was no direct hit in prize class 1 after twelve draws still applied.
