The incidences in Germany are still too high. But the lockdown appears to be slowly taking effect. An effect is clearly visible even in regions with many access points.

In mid-December, the federal and state governments tightened the crown’s measures in Germany, and the shutdown was extended to mid-January. This should ensure that incidents in the German districts eventually drop again. Now it finally seems to be showing a positive effect. A time-lapse animation shows how the number of infections has developed over the past few weeks. One county even reported a zero incidence on January 27. However, it is still not crown free.

You can see what this is all about, how incidents have developed in Germany in recent weeks, and which districts are doing particularly well in our animation video above. You can also find the publication Here.
