The Hague (dpa) – In view of the rapidly increasing number of cases, the Netherlands is tightening its crown rules during the first three weeks. “Everyone has seen the alarming reports,” Prime Minister Mark Rutte said Monday night in The Hague. Now consequences must be drawn from this.
This includes that starting Tuesday night all sporting events must take place without an audience. Cafes and restaurants must close at 10 pm and are not allowed to admit new guests after 9 pm Also, a total of only 30 people can be in a bar at the same time, 40 outdoors.

Client registration is mandatory for all contact professions such as hairdressers or masseurs. Mouth and nose protection is recommended for businesses, but not required. The Netherlands have been very cautious about face masks so far. At home you should only receive three guests. Also, everyone should go back to working from home, if possible.
