Lower Saxony: Grafschaft Bentheim introduces curfew

Schleswig-Holstein Reports 65 New Infections

The state of Schleswig-Holstein has registered 65 new cases of corona. This brings the total number of confirmed infections to 5,324. Around 4,600 infected people are considered recovered. Most of the new infections are currently in the districts of Pinneberg (+11) and Stormarm (+14), as well as in Lübeck (+14). There were cases of Corona in six schools in the Pinneberg district. MV state government advises on billions in debt against crown crisis

The state government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is again today faced with the additional financial burdens of the Corona crisis. At the meeting in late September, the ministers had already agreed on the key points of the supplementary budget. Consequently, another 2,150 million euros in loans will be obtained.
In a first step, the state parliament had already decided in April a supplement of 700 million. The total of 2.85 billion euros is the highest annual new debt in the history of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to date. The additional money will be used to support the economy and municipalities, as well as for initial investments. In addition, tax losses related to the crown must be offset.
